January 2011
“Tomorrow is always fresh with no mistakes in it.” —Lucy Maud Montgomery, author of Anne of Green Gables Dear Friends & Readers: It’s the start of a new year and it brings to mind the above quote by Lucy Maud Montgomery. I like the idea of starting fresh and I have 12 months to do it. I’m really looking forward to how this year will shape up. I’m equally excited about the prospect of facing lock down in the writing cave. I welcome it because if I’m writing regularly, I’ll have more releases to announce. It’s a win-win even though I’ll be giving up a lot of free time to…

December 2010
Dear Friends & Readers: The weather has drastically changed from hot to cold this month. I’ve had to bundle up and put on my winter boots, which I’m not complaining about since I’ve been waiting for winter to come for months now. The weather has made it easier to get into the holiday spirit. It also brings back fond memories of snow angels and hot cocoa…so, this year I’m happy I’m able to spend time with my family and dear friends. It’s a nice feeling and I know I’ll keep these new memories with me with me when I leave. Wow, I still can’t believe November passed in such a…

November 2010
Dear Friends & Readers: It’s sweet November and I’m looking forward to this time of year. The winter months carries with it a romantic feel that seems to warm the soul. I love bundling up, slipping into those comfy boots, and sipping Mocha Mint lattes while I read. But this winter is not a time for rest and relaxation…I’ve got a lot of writing to catch up on and a lot of submissions to send out in early 2011. Gosh, I can’t believe how fast 2010 has flown by–but it’s not over yet! This month I’ve decided to join NaNoWriMo. What the heck is it? It’s an annual November event…

October 2010
Dear Friends & Readers: I’ve been waiting for the leaves to change and the weather to cool down a bit. Of course, the days are still hot as heck and there’s no sign of Autumn. It seems like the only thing that has been constant is how quickly the year has passed. I don’t want to even think about it…. This month really kicked off to an awesome start. I attended a wedding this first weekend in October and it reminded me of how much I love being a part of these events. The bride was beautiful, the setting was breathtaking, and the reception was so much fun. All the…

September 2010
Dear Friends & Readers: The summer has ended, the nieces and nephews are back in school and I’ve been stuck indoors writing. I’m not going to lie, this project is kicking my butt! It’s a strange relationship. I love this story and know it wants to be told. I love the hero/heroine and the world building. I love so many things about it…however, sometimes even when you love a project so much, it can be completely difficult to put down on paper. I suppose the hardest projects are the ones I’ll remember and love the most. Of course, from where I’m sitting right now, it doesn’t seem to be true…
